This board is an absolute GAME-CHANGER. It's ridiculously light — the uphills feel like cake compared to my old setup. I’ve only been out 1x, but I’m already stoked for what’s to come. I can’t wait to take it deeper into the backcountry and mess around with more freestyle - forward riding. This thing’s got me fired up for the season. Thanks Cardiff.
Welp, I’m never switching from Cardiff now! This board lasted me 3 seasons of heavy use and abuse. Which is basically 3x what other brands last…and it’s the carbon build? Absolute tanks. Featherlight, carbon fiber tanks. I had so much fun riding this board every day. Playful but responsive in even the worst of snow conditions. This board provided a stable ride in my first split-mtneering adventures, and was a great introduction split for someone who normally only rides resort twin boards.

The Carbon Crane has been my go-to splitboard for the past 4 seasons. I enjoy a tight side cut and more of a twin shape, and this board fits the bill. The Carbon builds are incredibly light underfoot, both on the skin track and on the ride down. The swing weight while jumping around is super noticeable, making jump turns and spins so much easier. If you are into freestyle snowboarding and like to ride switch, this is the split for you! Can not say enough good things about this shape.
The carbon crane is hands down the best splitboard Ive ridden. Lightweight and surprisingly damp it handles everything well, seriously everything. Week old, hardened sled tracks hiding under 3 inches of low density dust? No worries. Stout breakable crust with a facet farm below? Felt like a hot knife through butter. Pivots on a dime for jump turns on firm steeps and butters in the deep. Responsive and stable at the same time when making arcs wfo. Also floats on pow like a swallowtail from your dad’s quiver. Next thing to test is some cab 5s and switch landings, the swing weight when kick turning on the up feels very balanced and low effort. I am so impressed thanks Cardiff team for your dedication and integrity, absolutely 0 regrets
