Trekked up to Utah for a Cardiff Demo event in March. Enjoyed meeting Bjorn, Megs, and the others. Tried a couple sticks out and settled the rest of the weekend on the Crane 158. The Crane was immediately comfortable down runs, no chatter at speed in the choppy stuff, and is crazy smooth slashing through the trees on loose powder. Now I'm just waiting for inventory to roll back in and get one headed my way. The Crane will be my mainboard this coming season! With my time there running in and out of their office swapping boards and hardware around you get the vibe they are genuinely good people and care about getting you on to the board that fits you and your tendencies. Thanks for making my first five days in Utah (Brighton & The Bomb Hole Cup/Solitude/Snowbird) awesome!
Cant go wrong with them. Arrived on time. Sweet looking board.
I was skeptical at first—the flex felt too soft—but this board delivered. It’s playful and forgiving at slow speeds, yet stable and responsive when pushed. With a smooth pop out of turns and solid ollie power, it handles a variety of terrain with ease. Set back 2 3/8", it floated through 20" of powder effortlessly.
While it can get a bit lively in uneven snow, the ride stays comfortable and never jarring. If I were out West, I might’ve chosen The Goat for my style—but the Crane has been a reliable, do-it-all option for a traveling rider who needs one board for everything.
I live in tahoe and purchased my crane Enduro 158 over last summer. I decided to finally ride her for the first time over 10 days in B.C in January. 3 days at revelstoke before traversing over to kicking horse for 4 days and back to revelstoke for 3 more before heading back to tahoe. I rode it with my all time favorite union contact pro's that I took off my park board and haven't stopped riding it since. The edges are the best I've ever had. Completely no chatter on straight lining or carving. Switch riding, park jumps, boxes, powder lines and groom runs have been a blast. If your a ski bum like me. I highly recommend cardiff crane. You won't be disappointed
I've had this board for two months now and wanted to give it some time before I provided a review. I can honestly say I have never had a board receive so many compliments and stir up this many positive conversations. Even when it's just sitting in the rack by the lodge, people stop and chat about it amongst themselves.
More importantly, the quality and ride of this board are unmatched. I've been riding for 25 years and have never had a board with this much versatility, durability, and responsiveness. I've loved that I can take it down groomed runs or threw fresh powder and have control either way. I can't overstate the power of that much versatility. If you're on the fence, buy the board.
