After months of research into a solid all around board to replace my ‘01 Burton Rush 164 I settled on the GOAT 166 and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my decision. It surfed through powder, dug trenches into the groomers and navigated the trees exceptionally! May pull the trigger on a pro carbon or possibly lynx or crane next. Great board CARDIFF! Keep up the good work.
This is by far the best all around, one board to rule them all board, I've ever had and ridden. There is nothing it can't do. Pow, it floats, rip groomers and dig trenches, no problem, ride switch, hell yes, boost some side hits, yup it's got you covered. If I could only have one deck, this would be it, with a split version as well 😉. It's stiff without being a dead plank under your feet and the weight is just perfect, it's not heavy, but not so light that you get bucked around in chunder. I ride this 95% of my days at Brighton even on 15"+ days. I just cannot say enough good things about it with 39 years of riding under my belt.
Been snowboarding for over 25+ years. I’m so impressed with this board that I can’t wait to push it to its limits. Looking forward to being a Cardiff riding for life!

I own 72 snowboards. On my first run on the GOAT I knew that all of the other 71 boards would be on eBay soon and the proceeds from that 71 would fund all my Cardiff purchases for the near future. True Story.
Board feels good, sidecut is a little mellow and the boards a little soft for my liking but all in all it’s a good board. Handles well and feels solod under the foot
I have absolutely loved this board. It is crazy responsive, floats in the powder and fast. The best board I have ever ridden.
This board is a machine. It handles anything you give it and more. I've only ridden it 5 days and it keeps impressing me every ride. The condition at our mountain has been firm and ice, but the Goat just persevere though it all.
I was an avid snowboarder in my teens and early 20’s. Over the past 10 years life got in the way. I jumped back in with both feet and chose the Cardiff Goat as my vehicle. I absolutely made the right choice. I was able to pick back up, basically, where I left off. The Goat is an amazing ride through and through!
I will say even better than that the tram at Cardiff took the care and time to work with me on my specific situation and help me find the right board.
I’m a customer for life and will now be outfitting my kids!
Jmo was so helpful and super knowledgeable about every board!!! Help me and my girl get the right setup for our riding styles. Love how chill it was just hanging out and talk about riding and spot to hit in the Wasatch! Recommend 100% will be going back for more gear!!
I’ve been charging this Trey all season this has been the first board I’ve fallen in love with since the lib tech litigator. I will be riding this board for the rest of my life! I’ve only put 47 days on it so far but I’m excited to get another one next season.
This is my 41st season of snowboarding I’ve had the honor to ride all over the world and North America. PURE JOY!!
The Goat lives up to the name. I bought this a couple weekends back and have been thrilled with how responsive the board has been. It's easily the best snowboard I've ridden and it looks super cool. Smooth.
