Every CARDIFF board begins with purpose and place. The CRANE is designed in Utah and proudly built in Canada using renewable energy and fast-growing wood species sourced from sawmills within 60 miles of the factory.
This regional approach supports local jobs, reduces environmental impact, and reflects our commitment to building high-performance snowboards with a lighter footprint.

A proprietary 63% camber / 37% rocker profile designed specifically for the CRANE.
Centered camber provides responsive edge control, pop, and stability, while extended rocker adds maneuverability, float, and a more forgiving feel in variable terrain.
PERFECTpivot — CRANE
A directional twin with centered HALFcamber, moderate effective edge, and extended rocker.
The result is a balanced and intuitive ride that feels comfortable carving in either direction while maintaining the float and versatility needed to explore the entire mountain.
RADIcAL SIDECUT
Tapered Directional Twin All-Mountain
The CRANE combines 4 mm of taper with 13 blended radii for fast edge engagement, smooth turn initiation, and responsive exits.
The sidecut is centered around the rider's stance, creating a balanced feel in both regular and switch riding while remaining quick and responsive when moving from edge to edge.

A balanced 50% Northern White Cedar / 50% Eastern Aspen core reinforced with web-fused carbon.
Paired with LAUNCHpads, this construction delivers energetic response, impact resistance, and a consistent flex designed for everything from freestyle riding to technical all-mountain terrain.
SPEEDbumps
Reverse-sidecut bumps positioned in line with the bindings increase grip directly underfoot.
The CRANE features 2 mm SPEEDbumps on both the toe and heel edges for added edge hold and confidence in firm conditions.
NOVERhang
Rider-specific board widths help eliminate toe and heel drag. Binding-area measurements are marked directly on each board to make proper sizing easier.
FLOATilla
Optimized surface area places more float beneath the rider, reducing back-leg fatigue and allowing for a more neutral stance in deeper snow.
Surface area is marked on every board to help riders choose the right float for their size and riding style.
BUTTERblunt Nose & Tail
Blunted shaping increases usable surface area while reducing unnecessary swing weight, improving float while maintaining a balanced, playful feel for butters, spins, and freestyle riding.

LAUNCHpads
Cross-grain wood inlays beneath the binding zones efficiently transfer rider input to the edges, increasing response, power, and control.
FORGEDtail
Injection-molded urethane protection integrated into the tail absorbs and deflects impact while maintaining lightweight durability.
ENDUROedge
Durable 2.2 mm, 48 Rockwell-hardened steel edges provide long-lasting performance and allow for precise tuning.

Every CRANE arrives ready to ride with a precision ceramic finish featuring a 1° base bevel and 1° side bevel, with the nose and tail strategically detuned for predictable control.
RACEfinish
A linear stonegrind creates a fast, smooth base structure designed to perform across changing snow conditions while improving wax absorption and glide.
FACTORYwax
Finished with Swix Fluoro-Free General Wax for excellent all-condition glide without fluorocarbons.
