Got the package deal only because in the long run I'd thought it'd save me a few $$ over a pro deal on the board only. While the skins were included in the order, the phantom treatment was DEFINITELY not applied on the board. I've worked in ski shops for over 15 years, so I do have a wee bit of experience :) I emailed Cardiff 4 times to see if they could help in any way, and on my last email I just asked for any response at all, even if it was to tell me to eff off lol. They never bothered responding even once over the course of 4 weeks. First and last time I'll ever to business with Cardiff.
I ordered the wrong size board and customer service was great about working with me to exchange the board for something that will work for me
ordered and paid over two weeks ago. received yet no information if the board has been shipped or if there is a delay or problem. wrote several emails to customer support more than a week ago, no answer. can’t say anything about the board obviously but customer support is a bit of a disappointment. i own a powgoda which is great, this is my third purchase and i never had any issues in the past.
A couple of seasons riding the goat pro carbon split and cannot fault it. The board is light and responsive, works great any conditions but shines on the big lines. Top build quality too.
As for the comment on hard boots below I've been riding the goat with Key Equipment Disruptive hardboots with quite a narrow stance. I use Voile STS tech toes which don't have an overhanging front lever and there is lots of space for a narrow stance.
I’ve ridden dozens of splitboards over the years and this is the best—it’s not even close. It’s light, responsive, floats, and still holds an edge. But beyond that, I’m a Cardiff loyalist now. Their customer service and small-business approach is top notch.
